We had to work out some math problems and we had to do two math problems each day.

I like how I worked out the problems. I think I should write more.

For writing, we had to use a writing template to practice writing our Persuasive arguments.

I like my argument ´Should the weekend be three days. Next time I can add more detail and ideas.

Matariki

This week we have been learning about Matariki and what happens at Matariki time.

Tiny houses

WALT:  Tell whether, or not, we would like to live in a tiny house one day.

I would like to live in a tiny house because they are lovely and they are very creative like their stairs they have draws as the stairs and there is also a ladder to the next room. Another thing is that there is an outside shower.

1. Sarah entered a 500-word story competition. She wrote her story over three evenings. On the first evening, she wrote 2/5, on the second evening she wrote 3/10, and on the third evening, she wrote the rest.

A. She writes 200 words 2/5 of 500. 500 divided by 5 =100x2=200
B. She writes 90 words. 3/10 of 300+90 300 divided by 10=30x3=90
C. she writes 150 words. 3/10

Prototec and slide work

This week for maths we did some Prototec and me and some of my friends are inside a group called triangles, we were working on some fractions and they were very hard and we also were doing common fractions and we had to find the questions out there was a whole lot of questions as well.
